wheneverthemoodstrikes submitted: As they watched the rushes for the Broadway Melody number, producer Arthur Freed blew his stack.  When ever Gene Kelly lifted Cyd a certain way, you could see, ahem, pubic hair.  He ordered Walter Plunkett, Gene Kelly and Stanley Donen to fix the problem and reshoot the scene.  They had to reshape the leotard on both the infamous green dress and the white costume...
